In the two years that I have known and worked with this fine gentleman, he has proudly held the title of Fleet Combat Training Center’s ADP Manager. Due to his superb managerial skills, and unsurpassed technical expertise, the ADP department has moved leaps and bounds towards Y2K compliance. The following accomplishments he performed were outstanding.

1. Developed the command’s new Fiber Backbone Infastructure, which included the installation of switches, hubs, NIC’s and UTP cabling to the desktop.
2. Developed and implemented the command’s ADP maintenance center. Responsible for the upgrade, maintenance, installation, and assembly of all computer hardware.
3. Managed an annual ADP fiscal budget of $75,000.
4. Supervised the turn in of over 300 non-repairable computer parts to the command’s supply center.
5. Trained over 5 highly skilled technicians in all facets of computer assembly and installation.
6. Skillfully saved the Navy over $50,000 by acquiring computer hardware from the Air Force and surrounding tenant commands.
7. Supervised the hardware inventory and provided Command guidance in standardizing the command’s hardware requirements.
8. Researched and co-authored the command’s Internet and ADP Instructions.
